Get or Forget? January Makeup Launches

Hii my beauties 💋 💋 !!

I really love seeing anti-hauls, and why people don’t want to buy certain makeup items, and I think these kinds of posts are really helpful to the regular makeup junkie in order to make a rational decision on if that makeup item is worth the splurge or not.

Keeping that in mind today I will be starting a brand new series in which every single month I will talk about new launches that catch my eye and if I will be buying it and why.

So let’s get into it.

Brand: Ofra Cosmetics
Product: Pillowtalk Highlighter (cool tone pink)
Price: $35
Would I buy it? Not really.
Why? Well, because I have a warm toned skin so I don’t think it will look good on me.

 

Brand: ColourPop
Product: Lipsticks (in 24 colors)
Price: $7
Would I buy it? Totally
Why? I am really into regular lipsticks right now, and CP is known for inexpensive but good products, so yes, would definitely get them.

 

Brand: Bh Cosmetics
Product: Zodiac Eyeshadow Palette
Price: $22
Would I buy it? No
Why? I don’t find it interesting, the layout is pretty but It’s not something I’ve not seen before, nothing interesting.

 

Brand: NARS
Product: Eyeshadow Palette
Price: $49
Would I buy it? No
Why? Nothing interesting plus I cannot make a full look with just that palette.

 

Brand: Anastacia Beverly Hills x Amrezy
Product: Highlighter
Price: $28
Would I buy it? Maybe
Why? Well, for starters this highlighter is gorgeous!! But I cannot help but think if it is something that we’ve seen before. It looks like a regular light gold highlighter but at the same time it has a pretty shift to it.

 

Brand: MAC Cosmetics x Jeremy Scott
Product: Eyeshadow Palette
Price: $75
Would I buy it? Maybe
Why? It does have interesting colors, but I am not as much of a MAC eyeshadows fan anymore, there are many other (and cheaper) formulas out there.

 

Brand: Dominique Cosmetics
Product: Eyeshadow Palette
Price: $42
Would I buy it? Yes!!!
Why? First of all I LOVEE Dominique, and the fact that she is coming out with her own cosmetics line is amazing, and this palette is a complete palette with which you can travel without taking any other to complement it. Yes and yes!

 

Brand: MakeUp Forever
Product: Eyeshadow Palette
Price: Not announced
Would I buy it? No
Why? Nothing interesting, it’s the same old neutral’s palette.

 

 

 

Brand: Kylie Cosmetics
Product: Eyeshadow Palette + Liquid Lipsticks
Price: $38 and $16
Would I buy it? Maybe and Yes
Why? This palette has a different color selection, which I am all for. And the liquid lipstick (in velvet) is amazing and I love the color selection that she has, so YES!

 

Brand: Anastacia Beverly Hills
Product: Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette
Price: Don’t know yet
Would I buy it? No
Why? Same old neutrals palette…

 

Brand: Too Faced
Product: White Peach Eyeshadow Palette
Price: $45
Would I buy it? Maybe
Why? This one I would have to see in person to be able to decide, but I love the color selection on this palette.

 

Brand: Morphe
Product: 24G Grand Glam Eyeshadow Palette
Price: $29
Would I buy it? No
Why? The same reason as for the ABH palette, it’s the same old neutrals palette with a pop of color.
