Hii my beauties 💋 💋 !!
Today I will share some hair care tips that don’t require a lot of effort but have a huge impact on your hair’s health. Nowadays we are in such a rush that we don’t get a change to do hair masks, massages and treatments. I get it, I feel the exact same way. It’s hard to schedule all these treatments with the everyday rush.
So, I found some hacks that can be added to the everyday your life and not take a lot of time out of our busy schedule, these are the small things you can do to maintain and even prolong your hair’s life:
I have seen many so people applying conditioner wrongly. And yes, you can apply conditioner wrongly. Conditioner should only be applied to the tips of the hair and not to the scalp. Applying conditioner to the scalp will only clog the pores and delay the hair growing process.
Sometimes we overlook this, but it is very important to end the shower with a cold rinse. This will not only help close the scalp pores but will also give the hair some extra shine.
To dry the hair, using a T-Shirt or a Microfiber towel instead of a regular towel, because a normal towel is too harsh for the hair and it will just make it frizzier and potentially break it.
Combing/brushing wet hair is a major NO NO. Avoid it as much as possible. Hair is the most sensitive and more likely to break when it is wet, so combing and brushing it will only be bad for it. If you do have to brush it I suggest you use a wide tooth comb, it is less likely to break the hair.
And last but not the least let it air dry as much as possible. Using hair dryers and straightening and curling wands only damages the hair. Because it burns the hair. So, if you have the possibility of letting it air dry do it, your hair will thank you for it!
So, here are some of my easy go-to hair care tips.

I’ve always applied conditioner to only the ends of hair, that’s definitely the best! And yes, recently have been trying to avoid brushing when wet and i’ve always been a natural air dry kind of girl! I still have issues with length of my hair, thats my #1 problem for hair. urgh growth +length!
good tips though!

I definitely didn’t know conditioner should only be applied to the ends! Why is that?

because conditioner is very heavy for the hair folicles and can clog them, and the roots need it more because it’s the ‘oldest’ hair. The roots dry out easily.
