Hii my beauties ๐ ๐ !!
Good skin is the main reason why makeup applies smoothtly and aging delays, and investing in a good skincare is really important, I have always given special attention to my skin.
Today I will share with you guys my current skincare routine for day, night and before and after makeup application and removal.
First of all let me tell you my skin type so you understand better why I use what I use. I have an Oily to Combination skin type, in the summer time I am on the oilier side and a bit dry during the winter.
Just to let you guys know this video is NOT sponsored by The Body Shop at all, I just lovee their products, especially because most of them are made using natural products.
So letโs get to the routine!
MORNING-TIME SKINCARE:
In the mornings Iโm almost always rushing so I stick to the basic, I like to use a face wash, a toner and a mattifying lotion. Just so I can go through the day without getting too oily.
I am currently using the Tea Tree Line from The Body Shop (TBS).
NIGHT-TIME SKINCARE:
At night I have bit more time to pamper myself, so I wash my face, tone it and apply lotion, but my night lotion varies according to what my skin is feeling like that night, if itโs normal to a bit oily I use the TBS Tea Tree Night Lotion and if it feels dry I like to use the TBS Vitamin E Overnight Serum or the TBS Oils Of Life Intensely Revitalizing Sleeping Cream.
MAKEUP:
BEFORE THE APPLICATION I like to wash my face really well just to remove any excess oil that might disturb the makeup that I will be applying, and just put on some moisturizing or mattefying lotion, depending on how my skin feels that day. I let it really sink in before I apply the makeup.
To REMOVE the makeup I first like to use makeup removal wipes, actually I use baby wipes, I like to use those, and then I go in with Chamomile Cleansing Oil just to get the rest of the makeup out, after that I go with a face wash, some toner and night lotion, again I go with different lotions according to how my skin feels that day.
And once a week I like to do FACE MASKS, if I am feeling lazy I go for the Sorbet Smoothing or Hydrating sheet masks or if I am feeling a bit fancy I go for the TBS Tea Three Face Mask.
And that is what I use to take care of my skin. I know it seems much but at the end itโs completely worth it. Do you use any of these products?

I have not heard of this line of skin care! I have been using the Young Living ART skin care line. It is spendy,…. but all natural and you only use a dab of it.

I tried this range and did a review on my blog, didn’t work for as I have dry skin unfortunately. Do you have any other recommendations from bodyshop that I can try?

Yes, it doesn’t work as well for drier skin. You should try the Vitamin E one or even the Oils of Life skincare line. Thank you for reading ๐

I’ve never tried TBS tea tree range, I’ve always used the Superdrug tea tree oil, I’ll try it out! I was also wondering if you think that the Vitamin E serum hydrates your face as I have really dry skin. Lovely post xx
