DIY Spot Make-Up Brush Cleaner

Beauty

Hii my beauties !!

Soooo, do you know those days when you want to use the same make-up brush twice and with different colors, and don’t have the time to wash and wait it dry, for like forever?? YES! I’ve been through it too! And I’ve got a cheap solution for you guys !

DIY spot make-up brush cleaner! Easy, home-made and effective! What else could we need?

So let’s get to it!

First of all you will need:

  • 2 cups of Distilled or Mineral Water;
  • 1/2 cup of Isopropyl Alcohol (the higher the alcohol content, the better)
  • 1 tbs Dishwashing Liquid
  • 1 tbs Clear Shampoo (preferably baby shampoo)
  • 2 tbs Leave-In Conditioning Spray
  • 1 spray bottle

Then you should mix all the ingredients together in a bowl, make sure to NOT just pour all the ingredients in a bottle and shake them all together, it will foam up!!! You should mix it in a separate bowl and pour it into the bottle afterwards.

And that’s all you need to do!

Directions of use:

You should spray the product directly on the brush and just wipe off the product on a towel or paper towel. Repeat as many times as necessary until the brush is completely clean.

But you should keep in mind that this is just spot cleaning and it cannot replace the deep cleaning! For more information on how to deep clean the brushes check ou my post!!

As you can see it’s very easy to make, it can be made with ingredients that you can find at home and its very cheap!

Β I use it myself and I really like it.

Let me know if you make it and how did it work for you !
